Draft — pending legal review. This page is a structural draft prepared for the Velonda build. Its wording has not yet been reviewed or approved by Velonda’s legal adviser and must not be relied on, or published to a live domain, until it has been.

Purpose of this statement

This statement is provided at the point your information is collected, so you know what will be collected, why, and who it will be shared with, before any check is run. It is read together with our Privacy Policy and the collection notices shown at each point of collection.

Consent to verification

By proceeding with an application you consent to Velonda Capital verifying your identity electronically against government records through an approved Document Verification Service gateway, performing a biometric face match with liveness detection, and screening you against sanctions, politically exposed person and adverse media sources.

Consent to credit and bank data checks

You consent to Velonda Capital obtaining credit information about you and, where you elect to connect your bank, receiving read-only transaction data through a provider accredited under the Consumer Data Right.

Consent sequencing

Privacy, credit and anti-money-laundering consents are captured before any verification, credit or screening check is run. The wording version, time and signer of each consent are recorded.

Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw consent for future collection at any time by contacting info@velonda.com.au. Withdrawal does not affect checks already completed, and we may be required by law to retain records for seven years.
